Two people were flown by helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital this afternoon after a motorcycle crash in Apollo, according to an Armstrong County emergency dispatcher.
Police were summoned to the scene along Route 56 near the Glen Bush Ford dealership at about 1:30 p.m., the dispatcher said. The crash involved at least one motorcycle, he said.
Kiski Township Police are investigating the incident. They could not immediately be reached for comment. Route 56 was cleared by 3 p.m. today, the dispatcher said.
