It was a tall order for judges of CapCon 139 to sort through a colossal total of 193 entries and come up with the three best for its outsized doorway encounter. They passed over many "Alice in Wonderland" allusions and selected a trio of clever entrants who are all first-time winners. No need to feel like anyone's hovering over you to enter CapCon 140 -- just do it!
Send up to three entries to page2@post-gazette.com or mail to: Caption Contest/Portfolio, Post-Gazette, 34 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Please include name and address and identify your municipality or city neighborhood. Deadline: Sept. 13. Winners receive a PG umbrella, totally unscathed from Hurricane Earl.
